So we're trying to build the FC ship so we're going to be trying to earn/gather points through fates, turn-ins with your grand company, gathering high quality, crafting high quality etc etc. This also means we will be taking a break from spending company credits in the mean-time so we might be running out of EXP buffs for a few days. I will however be getting a buff up every once in awhile thanks to the aether wheel buffs we have, with wheels provided by Aoi. Which will be like, once every 3 days.

So if everyone could help pitch in by doing grand company turn ins, it not only benefits the FC but also you! Take advantage of the gathering/crafting turn-ins especially because hot damn it's a LOT of experience. Better than Tradecraft/Gathering Leves.

I didn't think to try GC Gathering turn ins..Will look into that :D

Update: We have the Forecastle completed and it's in the bank. We're going to be on stage three tonight and possible get the Hull completed. Woo!

HULL!
Stage 3 is in the Company Chest. I churned this out this morning under Orin's watchful gaze… It was earrie to say the least… He just kept hovering over me… Watching me…

RIGGING!
The Rigging should already be completed as I believe we did this before Ayu and Ryu's break. Could somebody possibly ask Ayushiridara about this if they have another means to contact her outside the game?

FORECASTLE!
Already completed as Eve stated and is waiting for the remaining parts.

AFTCASTLE!
We should build the Aftcastle next as, stated above, I believe Ayu or Ryu have the completed Rigging. It'd be a waste of time/gil to remake something we already have.
Stage 1 is in the Company Chest
Stage 2 is missing 6 Darksteel Ingots, rest is in the chest
Stage 3 is in the Company Chest

FC POINTS!
This game sadly is backwards in mentally as less people being on means more FC points from points earning actions. The reason was to promote FC's working together and doing like things together to earn points. The best way to ultimately earn FC points is through turn-ins to your grand company, yes turning in aetheric/green/blue bordered too. I know this from personal experience in having to level a FC to rank 8… I won't mention the number of HQ Militia Items it took…

Ways to earn points:
Gathering, HQ hits give FC points. This includes fishing… Maybe we could make it more fun and do a fishing trip IC. Then we'd earn points while RP'ing.

Crafting: HQ's give FC points.

Grand Company Turn Ins: Highest earner of FC points in a single go. HQ items provide more points. If you do all the turn-ins, it's also possible to level your crafting/gathering jobs through this means. I watch my wife do it, she has fancy jewels and everything as proof… lol.

Quests… All quests give you FC points and it's based on the level of the quest. Beasttribes are great for this and they are repeatable.

FATES: Always fun to do.

Unsyned Dungeons: Wait how does this earn points since doing dungeons does not? It's a trick I use myself when in need of GC points. I enter a dungeon solo, and all the loot is mine for the taking. I then take that loot and turn it in. Higher level items earn more points, but this usually speeds me along for what I need at the time.



While on subject of airships:
What happened to making this RP too? I'd honestly find this more fun if it included RP as this is afterall a RPFC/LS and that's what most people are here for. Please don't take that wrong, as I've already assisted in making stuff, and will do so on my own time. At night I don't do much because, as Eve can verify along with some others, I'm normally up at 8am (EST) and already doing stuff. Unless my kids let me take a morning nap then it's 9-11. ^.^;; So I understand people are just coming home from work, getting dinner, etc by the time I enter my wind-down phase. (Or as I like to call it… I only want to RP…)


If you took this as deadly serious, sarcastic, etc… I apologize as it's not my intent. I meant this more as an informative post then something deadly serious. I'm more to the point/blunt for my own good at times, especially when writing posts like this.

Well seeing as the ship parts are technically finished now, all we need to do is wait. One of the things we can do in the meantime is actually RP this out IC while we gather FC points for getting the tools needed for the rest of the things for the ship. Like fuel, etc. We'll just keep accumulating points, and then RP the ship building process IC for the next few weeks.

I think this is a great time and opportunity to do so.
