A small, square shaped note has been pinned rather high on the left side of the cork board. A message written in a thin, angular script reads:

"I made some Mith (the former word is crossed out) Miq'abobs with the abundance of vegetables and meat brought in from hunting. They're in the larder so feel free to help yourself!"
