"I'm going to be scouting out the Ceruleum processing plant for the next week. If anyone wishes to join me they are welcome to. We have more pressing concerns such as Carina's Aunt, but I'm leaving that to Carina and Serick's discretion. Once we have these two issues handled we can move forward without loose ends hanging over our heads.

After meeting with our contact Aya this morning in Gridania, I made some interesting discoveries: What we originally thought was just Lueby Bueguu transferring Ceruleum to the east shroud to the Garlean outpost, turns out to be a ruse. Turns out the group Aya has been working with has made a discovery that the dark steel wagons that have been moving through the pass that connects the east and south shroud- the Wagons have been empty.

According to Aya's men and local wood wailers, The wagons leading through the east shroud have been a false trail. We think sometime before our trip to Amdapor Keep that the smugglers caught on and started using a different route. Looking at the geography and maps of the areas, there are channels of open water behind Amdapor, as well as the Castrum. We're not certain if they're taking boats, but the cliffs are a bit steep.

This is all we know for now, but I will be keeping in contact with Aya from Gridania to see how this pans out while her men investigate the situation there. Meanwhile I will be poking around Northern Thanalan and watching for any suspicious activity.

"Additional notes after yesterday's meeting: I met with our Contact a few days ago and they confirmed that the Wood Wailers and her men have seen airships flying overhead from the south shroud towards Coerthas- possibly Mor Dhona. These sightings have confirmed that the method of Ceruleum transportation is being shipped to the north west from the Black Shroud.

I'm curious to track where these ships are headed, find out who the buyers are. Ultimately I would like to cut off the source of this smuggling from the root, but I'm curious about this matter. If anyone is interested in accompanying me to Coerthas for an evening, let me know.
