So this is super old and late but I wanted to throw them here. This isnt a plot discussion, these are just the barebone notes I originally typed up for the Boat Event and some of the dialog that was used. Just figured I'd post this here for folks who didn't make the event. I wasn't able to save the Rp from the actual event or anything, but Ash, Sery, Seras and Ryushin did pretty well.

- Waiting along the docks, everyone can see Orin wearing a more casual and almost sea-worthy fashionable get-up with… a pirate eye patch. With a telescope in one hand, he seems to be staring off over the ocean towards a ship anchored a hundred yalms or so from shore. At his feet is a gunny sack plump full, and in his other hand is a rope. A rope leading to a series of ties on the dock that ultimately is holding a larger row boat in place: a boat that could hold a dozen people or so.

Orin: "The quickest way to get to the cargo level without going through the whole ship is to break through the grate in the center of the deck. It goes straight down to the cargo on these kinds of ships. There will probably be ten crew-men at the very most to deal with, so be prepared to throw some assholes overboard and fight. Our goal is to take out the crew, capture the captain and take over the ship."

-Once everyone has climbed into the rowboat, the group made their way across the waters and towards the slave ship. Rashtan's ship was a medium size cargo vessel with the design structure of a Fluyt from the outside, with full sails and a decent size deck. The ship was painted black, and had very prominent white accents along the framework up top.

-It certainly had a ghostly appearance to it, with what looked like additional cloth added to the sails to make them look tattered while they blew in the wind. According to the description of the ship that had been given to Mura days before, the ship had three levels below the deck; A cabin level, then the guns and supplies level, and then finally the cargo level at the bottom of the ship.

-The rowboat came to the back-side of the ship, as Orin set his rows down. He grabbed a rope with a heavy weighted grappling hook tied to one end, and tossed it up, hooking it on the edge of the railing. It made a slight 'tinking' sound as it seemed to catch hold where it was. Giving it a tug, Orin decided it was sturdy enough and he started climbing his way up. Once it was clear he got low and waved for the others to join him up on deck.

-As people are climbing up, two crew men seemed to be coming up the steps towards the back of the deck when they caught sight of the group. "Whats this?! Intruders!" One yelled in a loud bellow, signaling other crewmates the ship was being boarded. Three other crew mates came running with their weapons in hand, leaving a total of five of them already ready to go. Each one carried a different weapon: One Roegadyn carried a Javelin, another carrying a double sided Axe, One highlander carried a pair of daggers, another a short sword and a buckler, and the last one in the back held a book.

-As Ryushin makes his way across the stern of the ship towards the port side, running down a small flight of stairs and across midsection of the ship's deck towards the front. Across from the steps they had just come down, there is another flight of stairs leading up towards the front part of the ship, where the anxious captain is waiting.

-Rashtan was a tall looking pale man, with rugged features. Clean shaven, and wearing a bandana, his face littered with a few scars here and there to show the wear and tear that the man had seen better days. With his slick back dark hair, and dark eyes, he gave the group a surprised look over.

-Smoothing out his garlean-fashioned coat, the man walked up and drew out a long and unusual broadsword, with Allagan accents in design and feature with glowing points that ran down the blade. Attached to the hilt was what looked like some sort of odd Magitek machinery and potentially an added addition to the weapon: a gun barel.

-Looking down at the group he sneers. "You must all be the ones responsible for the interference of my trade schedule. I thought I smelled rats snooping around in Vesper Bay, but I had no idea it would been a bunch of local dock workers. I'm not sure what you're all doing here, but if you think you're going to interfere with my work, you have another thing coming."

-Two other crew members come out from a door that lead back to another cabin area, both duskwights wielding lances, while a third crew member with a bow is spotted up above in the crows nest of the center support beam of the ship.

HP––-/––- Archer atks: Heavy Shot, Straight shot (crit), Quick Nock (aoe)

- Rashtan leers down, furrowing his brows. Beside him there is a man; A large looking Highlander with dark slickback hair, and dark tan. He wore an unusual dark colored uniform of some sort, and a carbine in hand. He looked over to Rashtan and sighed.

Bast: "Want me to take care of this?"
Rashtan: "No Bast, I'll handle them on my own."

(INSERT QUYN"S PART)

Bast: "You handle the rats, I'll take care of the cat." As Bast beckons towards
Quyntin, he turns and heads towards the bow of the ship, while Rashtan heads down the steps to engage the rest of the group.
